The lobby's soaring ceiling, stunning wood accents, and unique fireplace design create an inviting atmosphere that really stands out. The expansive river-view suites offer impressive views of the Rock River, and spotting wildlife like bald eagles right from the window adds a special touch to the stay.
At times, things felt a bit rough around the edges. The lighting in the hallways nearly blinded me. it felt overly bright, almost like a clinic rather than a hotel. I noticed small housekeeping details that needed addressing, like the clock settings and a lack of coffee capsules. The shower door in my room also slid open unexpectedly, which was a bit annoying while I was trying to get cleaned up. Breakfast had its own hiccup. by the time I arrived at the later hours, many options were depleted, leading to a disappointing start to the day.

Lovely vibes and nice staff!
We had a nice stay here! The staff was super friendly, which made our time really enjoyable. The river views were pretty, and there were cool antiques around. The snack bar was a nice touch too. Just a bummer that we had to deal with some noise from other guests at night.

Lovely staff and super cozy space! Room was clean, and the view was divine—perfect for a family getaway. Plus, the breakfast server was a total gem, making mornings delightful!
But seriously, the bathrooms had a smell that could wake the dead. If only I could bottle that aroma and sell it as a new perfume!

The breakfast area had a cozy vibe with an amazing view. The staff made sure to keep everything stocked while being friendly. I appreciated the unique architectural details that made the space feel welcoming. I even saw a bald eagle outside my window, which reminded me of my travels in nature. I enjoy road trips, and this stop was a pleasant surprise.
The breakfast options had some items that were not up to par. The warming table seemed to overcook some of the food. I encountered a minor issue with the television not working properly.
